Do you talk to yourself in a way that is supportive and life affirming?
If you do, that's great, keep on doing it. If you are like most people you will have a lot of negative dialogue going on in your thinking.
We can tend to talk to ourselves like our parents talked to us. We can criticise, judge and berate ourselves in ways that we wouldn't dream to doing to other people.
So why do we do that?
The answer is that this is something we learnt from childhood and it has gotten to be a habit. But habits can be broken.
In this weekly series of workshops you will lean how to become consciously aware of your inner dialogue. Often we are so used to the way we speak to ourselves that we don't realise how non-supportive it is.
Then you will learn how to lovingly change the way you talk to yourself.
You will find that when you start to embed these principles your life will change for the better.
Want to feel more confident about networking?
Want to generate more business or more meaningful connections?
In this workshop you will learn to support yourself for success with your inner dialogue. The words we use say a lot about us and what we think of ourselves. They can power us towards achieving what we want, or move us away from it. In this session we will look at how to rewrite any negative internal dialogue to positive and empowering language that will help you achieve your goals.
Our brain's are hardwired for story and in this workshop you will learn how to harness the power of story to create a memorable pitch. You will learn the three types of story and how you can craft them to engage others and create further conversation.
In the final part of the workshop you will learn the power of breaking your day down into segments and creating intentions around how you want these sections to play out.
Do you feel stressed and fatigued? Are you interested in learning simple, yet powerful techniques to help you gain energy and live a more balanced, joyful life?
If so, this one day workshop is for you.
We usually refer to the events “out there” as the things that cause the stress. But truthfully, those events only have the POTENTIAL for stress, because the reaction happens INSIDE us.
The good news here is that during this one day workshop you will learn how to take responsibility for your own reactions. When you learn to change those reactions, you take back control.
You will also learn how to manage stress within the workplace including through -
Held at the beautiful Kitley House, refreshments and lunch are provided, you'll spend a whole day discovering how to deal with stress in a healthy way.
"I think, therefore I am" - Rene Descartes.
For most of us our thoughts never seem to stop. They come one after another until we fall asleep. As soon as we wake in the morning, there they are again. Very quickly we can get ourselves into a cycle of negative chatter which can lead us into escape routes like drugs, alcohol, food, overworking etc.
When we live and work from a more consciously controlled and peaceful inner place we are more open and receptive to new ideas and opportunities, we are more productive, are happier and live a more successful life.
Join me for this one day workshop at St Mellion and discover how the practice of mindfulness can help you live a more successful life and how you can positively use mindfulness in the workplace to help with decision making, dealing with conflict and organisational change.
The day ends with hour long non verbal communication drumming workshop where you will be led through an introduction of expressing the present moment and communication through sound. This will be led by Damian from Steel Tongue Drums
